SECTIONALS IS COMING UP!

Hey everyone! Hope you are as excited as we are for Saturday’s festivities. We are busy preparing for the events as well as all the details. Here is a short breakdown of the day’s activities:

7:30: Check In Time @ Lot 30

8:40: Layover Number 1

9:50: Layover Number 2

11:00 Layover Number 3

12:10 Lunch

1:20 Honolulu, HI

2:30 Riverside, CA

3:50 Official Section 1 Business Mtg.

If you are a little confused, try to connect the theme of the day as well as the idea that we will be presenting. Basically, every layover is a workshop, and the cities will tie in with the workshops.

Remember if you are a part of Section 1, you will need at least 2 voting representatives at the Official Business Meeting.

Sectionals 2009 Conquer Rho Rho and Rho Gamma (:

So Tuesday night Hannah and Jake began their rounds of promoting section one conference 2009. We began by visiting rho gamma (csulb) and were met in the parking lot by Mika and Terry. We were then given a very warm welcome by a beautiful chapter. They allowed us to make an announcement and their reaction to our event was exciting. Most were very excited about our annual charity event “A Night In Vegas” because they had a very enjoyable experience last year!

After making our announcements and listening to a few announcements to from Long Beach we continued our journey to irvine to visit Rho Rho. We were greeted by their friendly ic chairs Paul and MATT. Even though they are not in our section we wanted to get out and reach every chapter that is in reasonable distance to attend our conference. They also responded well to our sectionals and we even have some promising attendance from their chapter

Thanks to Rho Gamma and Rho Rho for allowing us to promote out sectionals and hopefully we’ll see lots of them in attendance!!

I am currently working on a little video clip. With midterms rolling around, I haven’t had the chance to create a great one to show you guys. So hold tight, and you’ll be seeing ADT soon on your monitor! (:

Welcome to our Section 1 Website.

This will be a place where you can check out all the updates from the Sectionals Core Team who will be busy preparing for the best conference possible time during your day at UC Riverside.

Please keep checking back to the website as often as possible – News on sectionals, and ADT will be updated daily for your information. Right now, it looks pretty bare, but don’t worry, as the weeks come, more and more information will be posted, so that you are all in the know about Section 1 Conference.
